“Artificial intelligence is going to do many things for us in the decades ahead and replace many human tasks, but one thing it will never be able to do is to create person-to-person connections. If you want to thrive in the age of AI, you better become exceptionally good at connecting with others.”
How to Know a Person – David Brooks
There are some places in life that feel like coming home. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been, or who you’re with, or time of year. As soon as your feet swing out of the car and touch the ground, you feel like one deep breath.
Wizard Academy is one of those places. And we think it’s time for a family reunion.
Come join us! We’ll spend the day on campus talking, remembering, and re-discovering our fellow magical alumnus. The crazy people who think going to a place called Wizard Academy to learn business is a good idea.
The day starts with breakfast tacos and introductions. (because OF COURSE breakfast tacos). We’ll come up with a few questions that give us insight into each other’s lives without making it feel like an elevator pitch session.
We’ll follow with a quick update from Daniel Whittington on Wizard Academy as we begin the wrap-up to 2024.
After lunch, we’ll listen to a small group of hand selected instructors and alumni give talks on human connection and business in the age of AI.
And we’ll finish with a grand family dinner in the woods under the stars. A long family dinner. The kind where you go back for seconds, thirds, desserts, and still look for an excuse to keep sitting at the table.
Have you ever had dinner while sitting in the woods at Wizard Academy? It’s the kind of crazy thing you can only do with family.
