Free Public Seminar
Wizard Academy is offering a Free Public Seminar in palatial Tuscan Hall. The class will begin at 9:00AM and wrap up around 5:00PM.
Aside from learning some communications basics about what works, what doesn't, and why, – and therein the secrets of effective advertising, lectures, sermons, art, and positive reinforcement – attendees will also see tantalizing previews of new courses in development at Wizard Academy.
People travel astoundingly long distances to attend these free public seminars. (India, Sweden, Australia, the Philippines. Seriously.) It's always lots of fun as the Wizard of Ads plays the audience by ear.
Here's the catch:
Nine years of experience in hosting these free public seminars has taught us that nearly fifty percent of all people who schedule fail to show up. This wouldn’t be a problem except that it forces us to begin turning applicants away as soon as the number of registrants exceeds the number of seats in our auditorium. Additionally, it causes us to order way too much food.
Our solution is to collect a fifty-dollar cancellation fee, then rebate it to every registrant who shows up for the seminar. Those who register and then don’t show up, forfeit the money.
We’re hoping the $50 cancellation fee will cause people to think a little harder before they casually click that “save me a spot” button. As an added bonus, those who choose to donate their $50 fee to the academy are added at the end of the day to the academy's list of course graduates, allowing them to register for all future courses with the acadgrads 50 percent discount.
Wow.
Seating, as always, is limited, so secure your reservation now. For more information call (800) 425-4769.
Please note that although the Free Public Seminar will be incredibly interesting, you should not confuse it with the more in-depth curriculum offered at Wizard Academy.
We are not able to include lodging at Engelbrecht house for this free event. If you are however interested in staying on campus in the student mansion, please contact Kristin@WizardAcademy.org, (512) 295-5700 for more information.
